How often should I get an eye examination?+

Adults should have a comprehensive eye exam every 1–2 years; children annually; and patients with diabetes, glaucoma or high prescription every 6–12 months.

Do you offer same-day appointments in Butwal?+

Do you fit contact lenses for first-time wearers?+

Yes — our optometrist guides first-time wearers through fitting, insertion, removal and hygiene, included with the trial lens.

Can children get their eyes tested?+

Absolutely. We use age-appropriate, kid-friendly tests starting from age 3. Early detection of refractive errors and amblyopia is crucial.

Do you sell prescription sunglasses?+

Yes. Any frame in our showroom can be fitted with prescription polarized or photochromic lenses.

How long does it take to get new glasses ready?+

Single-vision: 1–3 days. Progressive / high-index / coated: 3–7 days.

Do you provide warranty on frames?+

Yes — all frames include a 6-month manufacturer warranty against defects.

Do you accept walk-ins or only appointments?+

Both. Booking ahead guarantees your slot and shorter wait times.

What payment methods do you accept?+

Cash, eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, ConnectIPS, and major debit/credit cards.

How do I know if I need glasses?+

Common signs: blurred vision, headaches, squinting, eye strain at screens, difficulty reading road signs or seeing the board.

Are blue-light glasses really effective?+

They reduce high-energy visible (HEV) light exposure and can ease digital eye strain symptoms for heavy screen users.

Can I bring my old prescription?+

Yes, prescriptions under 1 year are accepted. Older ones may need re-verification for accuracy.

Do you treat dry eye?+

Yes — we diagnose tear film disorders and recommend artificial tears, warm compresses, lid hygiene, or referral if needed.

What is computer vision syndrome?+

A cluster of eye/vision problems from prolonged screen use: strain, blur, headaches, dry eyes. Treatable with the right lenses & habits.

Do you have emergency eye care?+

For redness, sudden vision loss, foreign body or trauma, call us immediately — we triage and refer where required.
